In June it was at 53.4, and at 53.5 in July. “Based on the PMI, I would expect to see some slowing in second quarter GDP as well,” Bryson adds. “The market is expecting a 2.3-percent reading for the second quarter.”

Nomura forecasts 2011 Swiss GDP at 2 percent, 2012 at 1.9 percent, and 2013 at 1.6 percent. Moody’s Analytics predicts a 2-percent GDP pace for 2011 and 2.2-percent for 2012. However, growth forecasts would be revised down if the currency resumes its appreciation trend. “(Forecasts) are a the mercy of international markets right now,” notes Iesha Montgomery, associate economist at Northern Trust. Switzerland’s export-driven economy is especially vulnerable because the country tends to produce so-called high-value-added products such as pharmaceuticals, machinery and electronics, watches, and precision instruments.

Switzerland’s largest trading partner is Germany, followed by the U.S., Italy, France, and the UK, according to Vermeire. Given their heavy trading with Eurozone countries, the Swiss tend to place a greater importance on the Euro/Swiss exchange rate (EUR/CHF) than the dollar/Swiss rate (USD/CHF).

Trichet said the bank would suspend its rating-requirement standard for Portugal so that nation could continue to use its bonds as collateral for central bank loans, just days after Moody's slashed Portugal's debt rating.

"We have decided to suspend the application of the minimum credit rating threshold," Trichet said today. "In the case of marketable debt instruments issued and guaranteed by the Portuguese government, this suspension will be maintained until further notice.

"And we took that decision taking into account the fact that the Portuguese government has approved an economic and financial adjustment program, which has been negotiated with the European Commission ... with us and the International Monetary Fund. The Governing Council has assessed the program and considers it appropriate."

Euro Uptrend Can Persist as Long as

The cycles for the European currencies have turned more positive and it now appears
the uptrend can last into the end of March. The cycles say the upmove in the euro can
stall for the next week, but it should then resume. Resistance between 1.3875 and
1.3900 will give way. This will confirm it is headed higher into the week of February 21,
the minimum timeframe for the uptrend to end, and our target is the 1.4200 area. The
euro should then pull back for two weeks, but if it avoids much weakness, as we expect,
it will make a final rally into the end of March. Our further objective is 1.4550, but it is far
less certain this further objective will be reached. By the end of March at the latest the
euro should turn lower and decline into the 3rd quarter of the year. Only a close below
the support at 1.3575 will raise the possibility the uptrend has ended early.

It was less than three years ago that oil went to $140 per barrel and the commodity index climbed over
3 standard deviations and 60% above its 4-year average. An extreme like that should statistically
occur about once every century, but despite dropping below the 4-year average for half of 2009, we are
now about 2.7 standard deviations and 50% above it, and still climbing. This is a big surprise and a big

well. Furthermore, a deep political rift between the US, as Israel’s protector, and the newly democratic

could come under pressure. The most negative near term result of this split would be OPEC’s refusal to
increase oil output, despite the rising price, something similar to the situation after the Yom Kippur War
in 1973. Food, not oil, has been the primary focus of this recent inflation scare, and the trend of
climbing prices actually seems to be accelerating. The tight supply status in many critical commodities,
plus the recent weather foibles around the world, should keep this move intact until the global economy
turns down, dropping demand. The increase in headline inflation should also turn the global economy
down. Not only does the cost of food and fuel drop the demand for manufactured goods, clothing, and
leisure activities, but it could convince the ECB and other central banks to raise interest rates.

Using COT Report To Forecast FX Movements

Between 2001 and 2004, volume in the foreign-exchange market increased more than 50%, illustrating
the overall rise in popularity of currency trading. The advent of online trading following the technology
boom has allowed many equity and futures traders to look beyond their more traditional trading
instruments. Most short-term traders or speculators trade FX based on technical analysis, so equity and
futures traders who use technical analysis have made the switch to FX fairly easily. However, one type
of analysis that traders have not been able to transfer over to currencies is volume-based trading. Since
the currency market is decentralized and there is no one exchange that tracks all trading activities, it is
difficult to quantify volume traded at each price level. But in place of volume-based trading, many
traders have turned to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Commitments of Traders (COT)
report, which details positioning on the futures market, for more information on positioning and
volume. Here we look at how historical trends of the COT report can help FX traders.

What is the COT Report?
The Commitments of Traders report was first published by the CFTC for 13 agricultural
commodities in 1962 to inform the public about the current conditions in futures market operations
.The data was originally released just once a month,
but moved to once every week by 2000. Along with reporting more often, the COT report has become
more extensive and - luckily for FX traders - it has now expanded to include information on foreign
currency futures. If used wisely, the COT data can be a pretty strong gauge of price action. The caveat
here is that examining the data can be tricky, and the data release is delayed as the numbers are
published every Friday for the previous Tuesday's contracts, so the information comes out three
business days after the actual transactions take place.

The yen has to reconcile two powerful countervailing forces. The first is the desire for home currency cash by the
Japanese in the midst of a historic disaster. So far we do not have data on repatriation, but it’s a good bet that individuals and institutions alike dumped foreign investments for yen cash.

Meanwhile, U.S. investors and presumably others are seeing a blood-in-the-street moment in Japan and have
bought Japanese ETFs to the tune of over $1.2 billion in just the first week after the disaster. Recent history, including the Asian crisis of 1997-98, shows that capital flows to stricken economies after a crisis.
Rebuilding offers profitable opportunities for those who get in on the ground floor, at least in advanced economies.
The offsetting influence is the natural desire of the Japanese to get more yield than they can get domestically, and the
cheap lending rates in Japan, which accounts for the carry trade.

This profit opportunity is not going away any time soon. In the near term (six months) the cash-first force may prevail. If so, it means the Japanese government may be hesitant to intervene against its own citizens and incoming foreign capital. As long as the dollar/yen does not go too far, say 78.00, we will probably not see another round of intervention. But stay

For the greater part, the FX market is made up of thousands of daily transactions with speculators being the biggest players followed by corporate and real money trades. Just occasionally there are some big flows which persist for days, weeks and even months and it is usually a losing battle to try and fight such flows.

For the past 18 months, as we’ve mentioned many times, we have witnessed some massive flows in USD/CHF where long-term petrodollar accounts in Switzerland have moved out of the USD and into the CHF. I first heard of these flows when USD/CHF was at 1.12/1.13 and now look at it. In more recent days what we have been seeing is fresh ‘petrodollar’ money moving immediately out of USD and into EUR in particular. This might be only a very temporary phenomenon or there could be something more to it. The volumes we are talking about are quite huge so if you really feel like selling the EUR/USD, wait until you’re pretty sure this buying has stopped.

One source tells me that if the buying persists, EUR/USD will be trading above 1.50 inside 3 months. Certainly something to bear in mind."

When analyzing the market, attention should be paid to the market movement itself. One has to follow the market movement like the cat that wishes to catch the mouse. Charts reflect the past. Theoretically, it is not possible to predict the market’s future. Yet, analyzing identifiable patterns, as a prelude to a "high probability" result, is as close as an investor can get. Repeating patterns are not 100% accurate, but visually proven probabilities can adjust the odds immensely in your favor. Identification of certain events provides a basis for an occurrence happening. Otherwise, truisms such as "Red skies at night, sailor's delight" would not be in existence. Hundreds of years of weather observations have produced a reliable result the next day. The same observations have made Candlestick signals highly accurate.

Candlestick signals have a major beneficial aspect. They are visually easy to see. This is an important element for any technical method. A reversal signal should not be an interpretive exercise. They should be clear and uncontroversial. The Japanese Candlestick formations depict an obvious change in a trend. The vital word is “obvious”. The expediency of finding the best possible trades requires being able to recognize those signals. The signals need to be visually distinct.
Fortunately, the graphic picture that signals convey make it easy to make profitable determinations. When the buy signal and the sell signal are apparent. In simple terms, this is the effective result of having well proven signals.

Should Bank Rate rise now? The answer depends on the outlook for inflation in the medium term, and the MPC will set out its judgement in full in our February Inflation Report. The outlook is shaped by the two conditions that are necessary for a successful rebalancing of our economy: the significant fiscal consolidation over the next five years and the large fall of 20% in the real exchange rate that will enable our export and import-competing sectors to expand and take advantage of the recovery in the world economy. Over the past year, output growth has recovered and, according to the latest estimate published this morning, GDP rose by 1.7% during 2010 – and would have grown by more than 2% had it not been for the estimated disruptive effects of snow in December. Similar recoveries have been taking place in the euro area and the United States. And growth in emerging markets has been impressively buoyant.
Nevertheless, even abstracting from the effects of snow, growth at home slowed in the second half of last year. Looking ahead, domestic spending still faces strong headwinds. Private consumption, having fallen by nearly 5% during the crisis, is likely to recover only slowly, restrained by the squeeze in real take-home pay and the rise in unemployment. And fiscal consolidation implies slow growth of public consumption. The economy as a whole must deal with the legacy of extraordinarily high debt levels built up prior to the crisis. In particular, shrinking the size of the balance sheet of the financial sector will constrain lending for some time, as many of you will have experienced firsthand. The indebtedness of the financial system doubled, from 3½ times GDP in 1998 – already high by international standards – to over 7 times GDP in 2008. To appreciate the scale of that increase, even if the financial sector were to cap its debt at today’s level, it would take more than a decade for growth in the economy to return indebtedness relative to GDP to its 1998 ratio.

With a weak outlook for domestic spending, the prospects for UK exports are crucial. Encouragingly, exports of tradable goods are growing quickly. Goods export volumes have risen by over 20% since their trough in mid 2009, facilitated by the depreciation of sterling. And, consistent with the picture painted by business surveys, the Bank’s Agents report that exports are growing at the fastest pace since they began collecting evidence for the MPC in the summer of 1997, although exports of services have been weaker. That explains why manufacturing output is expanding rapidly – by over 5% compared to a year ago. Production for export at Nissan’s Sunderland plant rose by almost 30% last year. So the rebalancing of the economy towards net exports and away from consumption is well underway.
What does this mean for inflation? The volatility of world commodity and energy prices means that no-one should pretend that short-run movements in inflation are predictable. But the determinants of inflation further ahead remain consistent with inflation falling back quite sharply next year. Output is still around 4% below the level it reached prior to the financial crisis almost three years ago and is close to 10% below a continuation of its pre-crisis trend. As many are so painfully aware, unemployment remains high and wages are rising slowly. Broad money growth is subdued – an annual rate of around 2%. In these respects, the behaviour of the UK economy has been much closer to that of our American and European counterparts where underlying inflation is below their target.

What a black friday to me. Eur/Usd the pair which I count on, moving up against my positions. The margin I have become shorter and shorter. Panic, the right word to describe my situation this Friday night. Trying to get more information about what is happening to my 'not right' technical analysis.

"EUR/USD chipping away at Fibo resistance.

We made one probe above the 1.3570 level and are making a second attempt at the moment. Small stops were tripped above the 1.3575 level on the first pass, resulting in a 1.3577 high before a dip.

If momentum can be sustained. look for a good battle ahead of 1.3600. If China holds the barrier (as they usually do) they have plenty of ammunition to protect it if they decide to…They were buyers on dips earlier today and have healthy short-term profits that they might be willing to book…

Uncertainty over European sovereign-debt issues is likely to continue to loom large over the Eurozone and its currency in 2011.

“We are only in the third or fourth inning of the debt issue,” Bryson says. “Where does the European debt crisis go from here? If it rears its ugly head again will the Euro sell off?” Just as the Greek crisis was beginning to fade from memory and the Euro was rebounding, Ireland defaulted, pushing the currency down again (Figure 1). Now, most observers fear similar episodes in Spain and Portugal may be only a matter of time. “Peripheral Europe is having a significant impact on the markets,” Nicola says. “Watch data from Spain — it’s the fourth-largest economy in the Eurozone and there’s a lot of talk
about it being under significant pressure. We could see a double-dip recession in Spain, which could be a drag
on sentiment in the Eurozone.” All of which would keep pressure on the Euro.

“I see ongoing problems for the Euro in the next year,” Buskas notes. “The situation with the peripherals
isn’t going to get better any time soon — and it’s structural, not cyclical, and therefore it’s going to be a long-term
issue that will weigh on the Euro. Add to that the fact that France is losing its clout in the Eurozone, which puts a lot
of the burden on Germany to bail out the problem-makers, and you have a recipe for investors to pare their appetite for the Euro. As of mid-December, we’re looking at Euro/dollar (EUR/USD) at 1.3300, and I think it could go as low as 1.2500 or even possibly 1.2000.”

Looking at the Euro’s technical situation, analysts at Credit Suisse noted the currency’s vulnerability in their Dec. 8 “Investment Themes for 2011” research note: “The aggressive EUR/USD plunge through the critical trendline off the June low into late November reinforced the prior violation of the key 1.3381/65 area for an extremely negative long-term chart setup. This activity alongside the violation of the 200-day moving average has signaled a more aggressive negative tone into at least year-end and first quarter 2011 with a bearish ’outside’ November pattern just completed. Moreover, the succession of lower lows and highs since the 2008 peak, alongside the May 2010 violation of secular support foundations, indicates a more significant topping process, which has negative implications well into 2011.”

Any discussion of U.S. quantitative easing winds its way
to Japan’s efforts in the same vein, and its ongoing failure to combat the country’s chronic economic stagnation. Many critics of Japan’s nearly 20-year battle with deflation say the Bank of Japan (BOJ) and Ministry of Finance simply haven’t been aggressive enough in attacking deflation. Japan has struggled with deflation for more than a decade, and growth remains sluggish. According to Credit Suisse, Japan’s first quarter GDP came in at 5 percent, but it slowed to 1.5 percent in the second quarter. The third quarter is forecast at 2 percent and the fourth quarter at -0.9 percent. Pressler’s research team believes before 2010 is over Japan could fall back into a technical recession, with two back-to-back quarters of negative GDP growth. Recently, Japan announced a fresh round of quantitative easing and began taking steps to rein in the runaway bull trend in the yen, which recently posted a 15-year high vs. the dollar (Figure 1). In September, Japanese authorities reportedly intervened in the FX markets for the first time since 2004, selling about 2.1 trillion yen.

Also, in early October the BOJ cut its official overnight call rate from 0.10 percent to a range of zero to 0.10 percent, and announced it would set up a 5-trillion yen fund ($60 billion) to buy government bonds and other assets. Figure 1, however, suggests the latest QE from Japan has had little impact as the yen continues to strengthen against the dollar. “You may not see an immediate response,” says Tu Packard, senior economist at Moody’s Analytics. “This is a big struggle. Put yourself in the BOJ’s shoes — there’s only so much they can do.”

However, Pressler looks at the rising yen and Japan’s recent QE from a different perspective. “If anything, the FX markets treat
it as a validation that the BOJ is very worried about deflation,” he explains. “They aren’t thinking this is necessarily the cure for deflation.” Pressler says for the BOJ to make a difference, it must “keep its foot on the pedal and take a firm stance. Tell
the market ‘we’re going to throw yen at you until we see a reversal of this deflation situation.’” Despite his earlier comments
regarding stimulus, Pressler, who has studied the Japanese situation closely, says QE2 in the U.S. “has to be done. Whether it causes a dramatic turn-around is hard to say. But it puts a floor under the economy’s woes, and that’s a good start.”

Although not every member will agree with every assumption on which our projections are based, the fan charts represent the MPC’s best collective judgement about the most likely paths for inflation and output, and the uncertainties surrounding those central projections.

The global economy has suffered a sharp and synchronized downturn. Business and household sentiment in many countries has deteriorated markedly, and the global banking and financial system has remained fragile. In the United Kingdom, an adjustment process is under way, as private saving rises and banks restructure their balance sheets. Reflecting both this and the deteriorating global picture, GDP contracted sharply in the fourth quarter of 2008. Business surveys pointed to a similar reduction in output in early 2009. Under the assumption that Bank Rate moves in line with market yields, the MPC’s central projection is for output to contract further in the near term. Activity then recovers, reflecting the building stimulus from easing monetary and fiscal policy, the substantial depreciation of sterling, past falls in commodity prices, and actions by authorities at home and abroad to improve the availability of credit. The risks surrounding the central projection for GDP growth are judged to be weighted heavily to the downside.

dling deflation for so long.

into deflation,” he says. “But the BoJ has decided not to
engage in any quantitative easing. If they wanted to do
something, they could.”
sheard says several out-of-the-box ideas the BoJ
could pursue include “purchases of JGBs or other assets
— rEIt trusts or equity trusts.”
Although acknowledging Japan’s near-zero interest-
rate level is “arguably contractionary,” Moody’s Analytics
Bhattacharyya says there’s not much more the BoJ can
do in this regard without creating major risks to growth.

very close to their lowest in nearly seven years,” he says.
“Yet rates are not low enough to stimulate household
and business borrowing, which continues to fall, and are
still high enough to encourage firms and households to

when searching for solutions: “they need to allow their
economy to transition to where it is not just dependent on
exports,” he says.

behind the eight ball. “Japan effectively was in recession when the global crisis
hit in late 2008,” Pressler says.
As the global economy ground to a halt and demand for
Japan’s exports fell sharply, so did the country’s economic
growth. Pressler notes Japan’s first-quarter 2009 annual-
ized GDP reading came in at -15.8 percent.
However, export demand picked up as the global econo-
my began to recover, which helped turn Japanese GDP fig-
ures positive in late 2009 and early 2010. However, Pressler
forecasts quarter-on-quarter GDP to decline by 0.2 percent
in the second quarter of 2010 because of the country’s lack
of domestic economic firepower.
“Domestic demand has never
really kicked in,” he says. “We
believe the economy will go
back in recession in 2010.”
Sheard holds a slightly dif-
ferent view. “Japan is enjoy-
ing a cyclical recovery,” he
says. “GDP is expanding.” But
he adds, “It will probably take
many years to get back to a strong
recovery.”
Deflation will remain the pivotal issue. “The
key question is, will there be a recovery strong
enough and long-lasting enough to get the economy out of
deflation?” Sheard says. “I don’t think that’s probable. You
need to see strong domestic demand growth, and we are
not seeing that. Japan is experiencing export-led growth,
with demand coming from China. Japan is sitting next to
the fastest growing economy in the world.”

Akhirnya, Uang ke dua datang juga dari PTC yang kelihatannya gak meyakinkan ini. Wah lumayan banget nih, cuma nge klik doang dua minggu dah dapet segini. Yang ini tadi nya cuma nge test apa bener mereka bayar. Eh nggak tahu nya memang di jamin no scam PTC nih. Dah bakal gua jadiin objek serius juga nih, paid to click nya ada, paid to read nya ada, paid to sign up ada, paid to promote juga ada; wah lengkap sudah nih buat dijadikan lumbung uang.

Gara-gara pengen ningkatin penghasilan iklan adsense yang udah 3 tahun tapi cuma dapet duabelas dollar doang, ini blog kena kontaminasi pake ada artikel ngaco nya.

Tapi nggak apa lah biar rada banyak tulisannya. Bingung gua mau nyari gratisan kok ya susah. Bisnis apa ya yang kira-kira menghasilkan banyak uang dalam sekejap. Asal jangan bisnis haram aja, urusannya bukan mau jadi kaya tapi malah masuk bui ntar. Lihat payment proof orang lain kok ya bikin ngiler. Wah, belom narik uang nih minggu ini, gara-gara pembantu minta cuti sebulan kegiatan klak klik yang menghasilkan uang jadi tersita tiga per empatnya. Gak apa deh, yang penting uang nya nggak ilang ke mana-mana. Semua PTC yang gua ikutin dah mulai memperlihatkan balance yang lumayan dan siap panen.

Barusan mau dapat uang besar yang gampang nih. Ceritanya ikutan ke traffic exchange yang iklannya okay buanget dan menggiurkan buat pemula kayak gue. Itu situs pake logo kuda terbang, gagah kan. Pas udah klak klik nyampe dua ratusan dan sudah dapat lucky draw nya yang lumayan, tiba-tiba, datanglah email dari sang admin. Kasih khabar yang bikin bete abis. Katanya, kalo dalam beberapa hari ke depan akun anda tidak segera di upgrade maka dengan menyesal bakal di delete, dikarenakan member di tiga negara cuma jadi clicker dan ngambilin uang nya doang.

Nah lhoh, yang bego siapa nih, khan gue gabung juga dalam rangka cari duit dari gratisan, kan dia dapet publisher iklan karna ada member yang klik. Kok malah dirongrong begini, waksz ... tanda-tanda bentar lagi mau ko'it tuh situs. Udah aja mumpung ada fasilitas delete account nya, langsung pake buat delete dan ucapkan selamat tinggal uang ku malang.

Keliatan nih, nggak mau rugi tapi nggak dipikirin efeknya, terserah dia bilang kalo situsnya masuk jajaran atas traffic exchange, dan nggak ngaruh kalo satu dua member nya mundur karena banyak yang udah mau upgrade. Busyet dah, hari begini lagi butuh uang, malah koneksi internet bikin gondok. Semua orderan kesambit sama rugi, uang gua melayang sia-sia.

Bayangin, dalam keseharian berapa banyak uang yang dikeluarkan per individu . Mulai dari bangun pagi sampai mau tidur malam hari.

Pasti banyak yang kaget dan tidak menyangka, kalo sebenarnya kita ini punya banyak uang. Sebagai contoh, saya ini pengangguran terselubung, tapi saya perokok berat, mana merek rokok yang saya hisap ini masuk kelas yang wah barangkali. Sebungkus nya sepuluh ribu rupiah, saya habiskan dalam waktu setengah hari, alias duabelas jam. Hitung kasar berarti dalam sehari saya butuh duapuluh ribu rupiah.

Nah, hari itu misalnya, saya harus bepergian naik angkutan yang kira-kira butuh 2 kali ganti angkutan untuk sampai di tujuan. Masing-masing ongkos nya dua ribu lima ratus rupiah, berarti untuk pulang pergi saya musti sediakan dana sepuluh ribu rupiah hanya untuk angkutan.

Di tengah kegiatan, saya haus dan butuh minum, beli air dalam botol seharga seribu lima ratus rupiah. Lha kok terus lapar, beli makan siang sekalian seharga tujuh ribu lima ratus rupiah, cuma nasi putih sama ayam goreng tambah minum teh manis.

Wah itu sudah minimum yang di gunakan, ambil rata kurang lebih dua ratus ribu rupiah dalam satu bulan harus punya delapan ratus ribu rupiah, apa nggak pusing tuh, mana nganggur lagi.

Oh uang mengalirlah ke dalam kantong ku, amin.

Tea plantation business is quite profitable and the Netherlands tempted to develop tea plantations as source of financial state. Governor of Van den Bosch made the tea as a commodity in the forced cultivation system (cultuur system) in Indonesia.

Money everyday we need money. We can not ignore money importance in lives.
Uang setiap hari kita butuh uang. Keperluan kita sehari-hari tidak akan lepas dari Uang.
Who's the person that doesn't need money. It is a lie if there is one. Every body need money eagerly, especially if the money come and flow in gratuity.

Coba siapa yang tidak butuh uang, bohong aja lu. Semua orang mau uang, apalagi kalo Uang nya Gratis.

Money that easy come easy go that is what we are avoiding, we need money that easy come more and more easier but won't go anywhere without our permission.
Uang yang mudah datang dan pergi harus dirubah jadi uang yang mengalir datang terus menerus tapi jangan pergi.
